The Fly Who Flew to Space
I had the pleasure of creating the promotional and social material for Lauren Sánchez Bezos’
best-selling book, The Fly Who Flew to Space.
The project was inspired after Lauren’s beau, Jeff Bezos’s famous rocket flight, and the fly that snuck into the cockpit. Lauren decided to create a children’s book as a result, to promote any kid’s interest in space travel and following their dreams.
The book also has a Spanish version.
The social media campaign saw large success, making it onto multiple best seller lists seeing promotion on multiple national stations.

Initially, I was provided with a cover and a basic wordmark. I extrapolated and created the rest of the project assets from that start.
We came up with a factoid system utilizing these templates to garner engagement and interest.
I illustrated of a collection of templates for usage promoting the project.
This saw great success!
Eventually, that lead to success across the board!
